Renan Oliveira, PhD

I'm Renan O. Nunes, and I come from the charming city of Niterói-RJ, Brazil. I developed a passion for physics that has carried me through to my undergraduate years at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). Those formative years laid the groundwork for my evolution as a researcher. I then took on a Master's program at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where I dived into the complexities of Casimir forces, exploring how they interact with electrolytes. My journey continue in my Ph.D. studies at UFRJ, which led me to investigate Casimir forces between spheres, collaborating with the Optical Tweezer Laboratory (LPO). During my Ph.D., I also delve into the resonance energy transfer among quantum emitters study.
